A few of my favorite things! (products)
So over the years I have found many brands that I love. I want to share some of the positives from my favorite brands because I know that most of my clients are also on the lookout for healthy products that actually work. So here we go.
First on the list:
Herbal alchemy is a company originally based out of Tennessee that boasts a complete line of organic products that are so clean that you could actually eat them (they don't recommend it since they wouldn't taste very good!). However, since anything that we put on our skin gets absorbed into our body in our bloodstream within 20 to 30 seconds. It's important that we don't put stuff on our skin that we wouldn't be able to digest. I particularly love their body lotion bars. They are the best for keeping my heels from cracking painfully. And their cuticle oil is amazing for fending off hangnails. It keeps my cuticles from getting torn up and dry. I also use their facial skin facial care line and love their liquid deodorants. The entire family uses their body bar for washing and their body lotion for moisturizing. And a big plus for us in Texas, mosquitoes don't like their lavender smell on the body bars. So I use that as my mosquito repellent. They do have a few nutritional products which are awesome as well. Their Detox contains a lot of really great herbs for daily detoxing. It’s a good option, if you're looking for a product that detoxes the body daily in a healthy way. I also love their collagen powder. It is Type Two collagen which is not easy to find, has a yummy flavor and mixes easily into smoothies and even into water. I notice a huge difference when I take it in my joints health and on my face.

Next, for nutrition:
Thorne Research is one of my favorite nutritional supplement companies. All of their products are third party tested and guaranteed to be safe for athletes. They also have some personal at-home medical testing kits for digestive health, stress, health, and more. With their supplements, they have both multi-ingredient products and single ingredient products. This allows you and I to take only the supplements that we really need rather than blends that may not be the best for us.
For haircare:
My family and I have been using Monat haircare for a few years. This is not an all - natural, organic line. However, it is free of all of the toxic chemicals that standard American products contain as they follow the much stricter European haircare ingredient standards. It's the only product line that I found that doesn't leave my hair so dry and brittle that it breaks.
For almost anything!!!
Last but not least, Rowe Casa if you are local to Longview or to the east Texas area, check out Rowe Casa an amazing small company that makes all organic clean products from therapeutic essential oils. They have an extensive product line ranging from household cleaning products (which I absolutely love) to skincare, hair care, bug repellents, tanning oils and everything in between. They have so many products that I absolutely love. Some of my favorites are their tanning products and sunblocks. I also love their bathroom cleaners. And wait until you try their bathroom scrub! It is amazing at getting dirt out of grout.
