Check out this graphic which is a snapshot of how I train my clients. We start at the base Motivation and discover your goals and motivations for making changes. At the same time, we also establish your baseline of strength and mobility, so that we can actually document progress.

After we have our base, we move into Momentum. Here we can now bump our intensity and really start making gains.

Finally, we arrive at Mastery where we start setting new goals while also really learning what our body needs to maintain our own health.

In the personal training world, there’s been a piece missing… It’s the ‘personal‘ part! So when I work with clients we spend a lot of time discovering how the body is reacting to the changes that we implement. We practice the art of noticing what’s happening internally as we make changes externally. It also means that we are addressing the body as a complex system rather than separate pieces. So we watch changes made in one part of the body and understand that they will have a ripple effect over the whole. It’s very different from traditional training methods.

While some trainers follow similar methods, why am I different?

Some of the ways that I’m different include:

  • I don’t focus on training for a specific goal such as marathons and other competitions

  • I spend just as much time on teaching healthy rest as I do healthy movement

  • I focus on helping women (and occasionally men) who feel like they’re
    ”damaged” due to injury etc. see that they are precious in God’s eyes and can be restored

  • I believe that Jehovah is the Healer and created a perfect and beautiful design that we should work with rather than against.

When I started my health journey, my body was in the same injured and discouraged state tthat my clients feel when they come to me. But through faith in Jesus and the wisdom of how the body works and rebuilds, I am now more active and healthy than I have ever been! I would love to help you find the same freedom and health.
