Swimsuit Prep for the Core - Core HIIT
Spring is here! And that means that it’s time to prepare for summer!! It’s my favorite time of the year. The bright sunny days, lounging beside water, and nursing a yummy cold beverage…. Ah, summer! However, before those wonderful lazy days can be enjoyed - there’s something that we have to do…. Swimsuit preparation. So here’s Part A for you - the Core. Just one little friendly reminder here - (most) women are not built to have washboard abs. So if you’re struggling to get a six-pack and you think that starvation is the only way to get there, then please pm me. We can make sure that you stay healthy in your pursuit of the elusive 6-pack.
Breathing Preparation - This video focuses your attention on breathing for strength and stability. It activates your muscles to perform better whether you’re working out or resting.
No equipment needed.
Core Flow - This video is a little more challenging than some of the other flow workouts as it gets you doing some balance work that helps your muscles to work together to stabilize. The smaller connective muscles will really get a workout. This helps to cross-train the body.
Sticky Mat and blocks are recommended.
Core HIIT - This is a short and sweet sequence that only works your abs. At just 4 minutes long, it’s a great way to wake your body up in the morning or to begin or end your workout.
All you need is a mat.
The HIIT! - This workout will get your heart rate up! You will burn some serious calories and strengthen your abdominal muscles all at the same time. It’s just about 20 minutes long, so you can easily fit it into your schedule. Just remember to not do it more than four times a week. The body needs recovery time to build itself stronger after a HIIT.
Restore the Core - Finally, you can rest those weary abs. They’ve worked hard for you and now we’re going to take a few minutes to stretch and relax the entire core. After all, a stiff core is not our goal here.
